  • The Ethereum Foundation Increased the bug bounty to $500,000 to identify related vulnerabilities in advance of the upcoming Shapella upgrade. Fredrik Svantes is a security researcher at Ethereum Foundation. He said in a meeting that he would “go ahead” and “start looking for more vulnerabilities as Shapella-specific issues are now up to half million dollars.” Svantes also announced this in a Twitter. The bug bounty site will be updated “soon” to reflect the new information. The upgrade is due to be released on the mainnet on April 12.
  • Matter LabsThe developer of zkSync, an Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible zero-knowledge-proof-based scaling solution, opened access to its Layer 2 network zkSync Era Today, the public can access it.
